Once upon a time, I had a dream of building a powerful Discord bot that could truly enhance the community experience. I knew this was my calling, and I embarked on a journey to make it a reality.
Before Sentinel, there was my first bot, Sjonnie. It served its purpose, but I always felt it lacked the functionality I envisioned. The turning point came when I discovered the potential of slash commands, and I knew I had to create Sjonnie v2 with this game-changing feature.
Excited about the possibilities, I set out to create Sjonnie v2 with slash commands. However, despite my best efforts, the project faced setbacks and didn't see the light of day. But instead of giving up, I took this as an opportunity to grow and learn.
Undeterred by the challenges, I poured my heart and soul into building what would become my greatest achievement - Sentinel. This final build was born out of passion, dedication, and a strong desire to create a Discord bot that worked like a charm.
Sentinel is still in beta, and while it might not have many features at the moment, it has incredible potential. My vision for Sentinel is to evolve into a broad yet compact and user-friendly bot, empowering server owners with customization options to suit their needs perfectly.
As of now, Sentinel is using a productional server, so it's ready to protect your server.
